Settling in Paraguay

We guide you through the whole process of settling in Paraguay: temporary or permanent residency, the Paraguayan ID card and translations. If you need it, we also arrange your arrival, with the hotel and the transfer from the airport.

  • Residency

    We handle temporary and permanent residency for foreigners (residency card). It is a full service: you do not have to deal with any paperwork on your own.

    • We tell you which documents to bring from your home country.
    • In Paraguay we go with you to obtain the local documents the procedure requires, including transport to the institutions that need it.
    • We accompany you to the submissions at the Migraciones (immigration) office.
    • We follow up on your file until you receive your card.

  • ID card and passport

    Once your residency is granted, we follow the process through until you obtain your Paraguayan ID card (cédula).

  • Translations

    We offer a translator for the documents the procedure requires in Spanish.

How the process works

  1. You write to us on WhatsApp. We send you the cost of your procedure and the list of documents to bring from your home country.
  2. You prepare those documents in your country.
  3. You arrive in Paraguay. If you asked for it, the transfer and the hotel are already arranged.
  4. Together we obtain the local documents the procedure requires.
  5. We submit everything at the Migraciones office and follow up until you receive your residency card.
  6. With your residency granted, we apply for your Paraguayan ID card.
