Settling in Paraguay is a process with several steps. We go through it with you, in your language.

First, residency

The starting point is residency. The requirements depend on your country of origin and your situation, so the first step is a conversation about your case.

Documents from your country

You will almost always need documents issued in your country, legalised or apostilled and translated into Spanish. We tell you which ones and help you with the translations.

Then, the ID card

With residency, you apply for the Paraguayan identity card (cédula).
